Women's Soccer Held Scoreless at Davis
September 19, 2001

DAVIS, Calif. (Sept. 19) -- Held scoreless for the second game in a row, Seattle Pacific University dropped a nonconference women's soccer game to UC Davis, 1-0, Wednesday at Aggie Field.

Tristan Ngoon snapped a scoreless tie for the Aggies (6-2-0) in the 70th minute, shooting home a short cross from Alicia Dolan. SPU had lost 1-0 in overtime Monday at Notre Dame de Namur.

The Falcons (3-4-1) applied pressure over the final 20 minutes. Michelle Sanders (Fr., Centralia, Wa.) forced a diving save by UC Davis keeper Christine Ogden on an 18-yard blast.

Davis finished with a 14-4 advantage in shots. Jennifer Hull (Fr., Eugene, Or./Sheldon) came up with seven saves.

Seattle Pacific completes the four-game Northern California trip Friday when it visits No. 21-ranked Sonoma State.
