SEATTLE (Sept. 12) -- In keeping with the Congressional declaration that this be a national day of mourning, Wednesday night's scheduled men's soccer game between Seattle Pacific and Western Washington in Bellingham has been postponed. The Great Northwest Athletic Conference game will be rescheduled but a date has not yet been determined.

The status of Saturday's nonconference game at Simon Fraser in Burnaby, B.C., is being reevaluated in light of tighter restrictions for crossing the U.S. border.

A women's soccer game between SPU and Western was postponed Tuesday night. The women's team is tentatively scheduled to depart SeaTac Airport Thursday for a four-game road trip to Northern California, with the first game at Humboldt State in Arcata, Ca., Saturday.

The next scheduled Seattle Pacific home event is Friday night's GNAC volleyball match versus Saint Martin's in Brougham Pavilion.
