SEATTLE (Aug. 27) -- Andrea Larsen, who not
only scored the first goal in program history but also earned
Seattle Pacific University a 1-1 tie with 23rd-ranked Point Loma
Nazarene, was selected as Great Northwest Athletic Conference
player of the week for women's soccer.
Larsen (Sr., Portland, Or./Central Catholic)
tied the game in the 51st minute with a 15-yard shot. Earlier, she
had scored the only goal in a 1-0 exhibition win against Concordia
(Ca.). Larsen comes to Seattle Pacific from Oklahoma State, where
she left after becoming the Cowgirls' career scoring leader in her
three seasons.
