SEATTLE (May 2) -- Corrie McDaniel, a Level 10 elite gymnast from Lawrence, Ks., has signed a national letter of intent to compete for Seattle Pacific University next season.

McDaniel, who attends Lawrence High School and competes for Kansas Gymnastics Dance & Cheer, finished 10th in the 2000 Western Nationals and was second regionally on floor exercise.

Seattle Pacific is one of the top small college programs in the nation with three national championships and 18 straight top-four national finishes, including third at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships earlier this month.
