SEATTLE (April 25) -- Multiple event prospect
Amanda McCary of Shelton High School has signed a national letter
of intent to compete in track & field for Seattle Pacific
University next year.
McClary finished ninth in the state heptathlon
as a junior and who currently ranks among the state 4A leaders in
the 400-meter dash. She finished fourth at last week's Eason
Invitational in Snohomish and is also a fixture on the
Highclimbers' state-contending relays.
Seattle Pacific is the defending Pacific West
Conference women's champion and has produced three NCAA Division
II heptathlon champions and 17 All-Americans in that event since
1985. |
