SALEM - Seattle Pacific University and the University of Puget Sound won 10 of 13 collegiate races Saturday in the 4th Annual Governor's Cup regatta on the Willamette River. On the women's side, Seattle Pacific won the varsity four, the junior varsity four and the novice eight.

The Falcon men finished on top in the novice four.

Overall, Seattle Pacific accounted for four victories.

The regatta was marred by two collisions in the women's novice eight, resulting in Humboldt State's disqualification. The mishaps also caused the University of Portland and Willamette to scratch from the race

Seattle Pacific returns to racing Apil 21, at the Cascade Sprints in Tacoma.
