SEATTLE (Mar. 6) -- Rachel Ross of Seattle Pacific University was selected as Pacific West Conference women's track & field athlete of the week after running the fifth-fastest 800-meter race in school history.

Ross (Jr., Kennewick, Wa.) finished second in the Husky Invitational in a personal-best time of 2 minutes, 9.76 seconds to make the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying list. She also anchored the Falcons' 1600 relay which defeated Washington in a provisional qualifying time of 3:52.96.
