SEATTLE (Mar. 6) -- Gyongyver "Gus" Balogh and John Hubbard, the top scorers for Seattle Pacific University's playoff-bound women's and men's basketball teams, respectively, have been voted to the Daktronics All-West Region team.

Balogh averages 18.0 points and ranks among the Pacific West Conference leaders in all three shooting categories, had been named conference player of the year earlier in the week. Hubbard, who averages 19.0 points, had also been named first all-conference.

The Falcon men meet Central Washington in a first round NCAA Division II tournament game Thursday night in Bellingham. The SPU women earned a first-round bye and open Friday night in the regional semifinal at Pomona.
