SEATTLE (Dec. 5) -- Seattle Pacific University
saw its stock rise in the national rankings for women's basketball
while the Falcon men fell in this week's NCAA Division II poll.
The unbeaten SPU women (5-0), following two
impressive road wins, jumped nine spots to No. 15 going into
Saturday night's Pacific West Conference game at Western
Washington. The Vikings (4-2) dropped to No. 23.
Meanwhile, the Seattle Pacific men (3-2) slid
from No. 18 to 22 following a 99-93 setback at Western last week.
It hosts Evergreen in a non-conference game Saturday night at
Brougham Pavilion.
