Kristin Poe of Seattle Pacific University was selected as Pacific West Conference women's basketball player of the week after posting double figures in both points and rebounds in three wins last week.

Poe (So., 5-9, Enumclaw, Wa.) finished with career highs in scoring (23) and rebounds (16) in an opening-night 100-77 win over Northwest College. She had 12 points and 12 boards versus Pacific (Or.). Earlier in the week in an exhibition at the University of Portland Poe scored four of her 18 points in the final 2:10 and had 12 rebounds in a 72-68 win.

The Falcons (2-0) host Southern Colorado Wednesday night at 7 in Brougham Pavilion.
