Kamiak High School's Jeff Knudson has signed a
national letter of intent to play basketball at Seattle Pacific
University beginning next season.
Knudson averaged 16.2 points while setting
season scoring and numerous three-point shooting records for the
Mukilteo school last year. The 6-6 forward was selected all-Wesco
4A South as a junior.
Said SPU Coach Ken Bone: "He's a
prolific three-point shooter whose all-around game seems to only
get better and better. We're glad to get his committment so early."
The Falcons, ranked No. 17 in the NCAA Division
II preseason poll, open the regular season Friday night by hosting
No. 22 Cal State San Bernardino at 7. Last year SPU went 27-5 and
made the Final Four. |
