Sept 15 -- Falcons, Pixler Make Favorable
Showing at Sundodger Cross Country Invitational
In a performance superior to her winning of the open division a
year ago, Seattle Pacific Universitys Jessica Pixler ran
fourth in the womens featured section Saturday at the
Sundodger Invitational cross country meet Saturday in Lincoln
Park. The 5th-ranked Falcons finished seventh among a field
otherwise comprised of Division I programs. The SPU men were 14th
in the open division.

Sept 13 -- Falcon Women to Run With Big
Teams (Weekly Cross Country Release)
Next to the national meet, the Sundodger Invitational could be
the biggest and toughest meet the Seattle Pacific University cross
country teams will face this fall. Thats particularly true
for the fifth-ranked Falcon women who will race with the Division
I teams Saturday morning at West Seattles Lincoln Park.

Sept 8 -- Pixler, Falcons Dominate Opening
Meet; Meis Takes 3rd
Jessica Pixler had no difficulty defending her title and No.
5-ranked Seattle Pacific University won the womens
competition while the men were runners-up at the Emerald City
Invitational Saturday at Woodland Park. Brian Cronrath, a Seattle
Pacific senior redshirt competing unattached, won the mens
8k race in 27:17.

Sept 5 -- Seattle Pacific Harriers Run
Close to Home (Weekly Cross Country Release)
Short of the NCAA Division II Championships, the Seattle Pacific
University cross country teams will stay relatively close to home
this fall. In fact, the Falcons first race is within three
miles of the campus. The season gets underway Saturday morning
with the Emerald City Open in nearby Woodland Park.

Jul 18 -- Heritage Among Seattle Storm's
Women of Inspiration
Seattle Pacific University cross country coach Doris Heritage
will be among six "Women of Inspiration" to be honored
by the Seattle Storm during a special halftime ceremony at the
Storm's July 27 home game vs. Indiana.
