Cognos is a reporting envornoment that provides access to certain institutional data at SPU. It is a secure server that requires a Cognos account, which is only available to specific users in specific departments.

Most users will login to Cognos from their SPU managed computer on-campus. For this usage, the process should be seamless as the computer should be configured to pass your username credentials to Cognos and log you in automatically. In otehr instances, you may need to provide either your SPU username/password, or perhaps even a separate Cognos username/password. More details can be found here.
