Class of 1974’s 50-Year Founders Reunion Celebration

An important milestone is coming up for you: five decades since you donned your cap and gown and participated in Ivy Cutting. Now we invite you to come back to campus as our honored guest.

9:30 a.m.–7 p.m.

(Optional activities on Saturday, June 8)

Class of 1974: We invite you turn to campus as our honored guest for your 50th reunion. It will be a day to remember, full of celebration, great food, reconnections, and fanfare.

Ceremonies begin Friday morning with Ivy Cutting, followed by a full day of activities, including the 50-year certificate presentation, catered lunch and dinner, and a special program with music and sharing. 

Make your plans now to join us on campus June 7 for your most special reunion of all!

Schedule of Events

9:30 a.m.

Registration

Check in and pick up name tags at the Student Union Building in Tiffany Loop. Look for the signs welcoming the Class of 1974. Coffee and treats will be served while you catch up. You will be escorted to your VIP reserved section for the Ivy Cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m.

10–11 a.m.

Ivy Cutting

Ivy Cutting ceremony in Tiffany Loop (in case of inclement weather, Royal Brougham Pavilion).

11:30 a.m. 

Group Photo in Tiffany Loop (Peterson Hall)

Noon–1:30 p.m.

Lunch

Reconnect with classmates over lunch. Location is TBD.

1:30–4 p.m. 

Fellowship and Free Time (with optional activities)

4:30–5 p.m.

“50-Year Ring” Presentation

Upper Gwinn Commons. You will be welcomed into the Founders Circle, with presentation of pins and certificates.

5–6 p.m.

Dinner in Upper Gwinn Commons

6–7 p.m.

Reconnect and Reflect

Enjoy music, games, and memories curated for you by the Class of 1974 Reunion Committee.
