Next Monday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m., SPU will host a worship service entitled “Seattle Evangelicals for Racial Justice,” held at First Free Methodist Church.  This is an event for Christian congregations and organizations in the Puget Sound area to gather because of their common commitment to the Gospel and how it relates to the issue of racial injustice in our nation.

Event: “Seattle Evangelicals for Racial Justice”

When: Monday, December 15, 7:00 p.m.

Where: Seattle Pacific University, First Free Methodist Church

Who: Christians in the Puget Sound area

Purpose: For us to come together for the cause of Racial Justice.

We believe we are at a crucial moment when the church needs to be united at a time when our country is so divided.  We gather as Christians from all racial backgrounds, united by the gospel of Jesus Christ, to worship, pray, listen, encourage, and challenge each other.  The evening will be an opportunity to hear how all Christians can make a difference and do so in partnership with each other.

This event is open to the public.

Parking is available in the surrounding Seattle Pacific University lots.
