The School of Theology at Seattle Pacific University is that place. Through a unique model of scholarship, spiritual edification, and service we call “Academy, Abbey, and Apostolate®” students are educated and equipped to engage the culture as thoughtful people.
Our Christian Theology Major lets you choose from four areas of concentration: Christian Mission, Christian Scripture, Educational Ministry, and Theological Studies. We also offer seven minors. Students of all majors take our three University Foundations courses.

Discernment Weekend offers a day and a half of teaching, prayer, discussion, thoughtful challenge, worship, fellowship, and food with Seattle Pacific Seminary faculty, and students, along with others who are considering seminary.
Associate Professor of Theology Doug Koskela published an article in the latest issue of the Wesleyan Theological Journal. The piece is titled “Holiness and Catholicity: A Fruitful Tension for the Wesleyan Tradition.” The journal is a publication of the Wesleyan Theological Society, for which Dr. Koskela will serve as first vice president over the next year.
Associate Professor of New Testament Studies David Nienhuis and Rob Wall, the Paul T. Walls Professor of Scripture and Wesleyan Studies, recently wrote three entries for Eerdmans Publishing Company’s blog. The posts feature interesting highlights from their joint work on their latest book, Reading the Epistles of James, Peter, John and Jude as Scripture: The Shaping and Shape of a Canonical Collection (Eerdmans, December 2013). Wall and Nienhuis shared about the individual paths that brought them to the project and the collaborative partnership that took them through it.
