About the Asian American Ministry Program

Students

The 21st century requires a new kind of seminary to train leaders to witness to the gospel in a world and church that is rapidly becoming more diverse.

The Asian American Ministry Program plays a strategic role in building a multiethnic learning community that reflects the cultural and demographic landscape of the Pacific Northwest and beyond, and that is essential to the formation of students of every calling to serve Jesus Christ in both the church and society.

We do this through the Seminary’s unique model of scholarship, spiritual edification, and service we call “AcademyAbbey, and ApostolateTM.”

“The traditional face of American Evangelicalism is changing. An ever higher percentage of U.S. Evangelicals — perhaps nearing a third of the total — are Asian, African, Latin American, or Pacific Islander. ”
