AUSBGE & ASME student clubs are hosting an exciting Earth Day event titled: Sustainable Solutions: The Business of Green.  This event will feature a talk by Hal Calbom, of the Sustainable Media Group.

Hal began his career in television broadcast news and public affairs, working for King Television, the Seattle NBC affiliate, as a reporter, producer, writer, news anchor and program host, where he won five Emmy Awards for writing and production and the Champion Media Award for Economic Understanding. Hal has produced and successfully brought to market over 70 media-based programs, is recognized as an outstanding interviewer, keynoter, and program host, and valued communications consultant. Hal is a graduate of Harvard College, with a degree in Government, was a National Merit Scholar and winner of the Frank Knox Fellowship from Harvard, and holds an M.A. in English from the University of Exeter, England.
