Emily Witt

Emily Witt earned a bachelor of arts in music and a master of music in piano accompanying from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music. For close to 15 years, she traveled extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada as a pianist with the National Tours of "The Phantom of the Opera," "Les Miserables," "Miss Saigon," and "Mamma Mia." She has performed in master classes with Margo Garrett, Martin Katz, Harmutt Hoell, and Mitsuko Shirai, and recorded Charles Strouse's "Sonata for Two Pianos" for Classical Broadway.
Since moving to Seattle, Ms. Witt has worked as a collaborative pianist with the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Chamber Singers, Seattle Symphony Chorale, NOISE (Northwest Opera in Schools, Etc.), University of Washington, and Shorecrest and Shoreline school districts. She has been at SPU since 2011.
