Vietnam Nursing Study Trip
Each year, 10 senior nursing students travel across the globe to impact the health and lives of people in Vietnam. In Winter Quarter 2009, SPU students and faculty will make their fourth trip to this country. Students have five weeks of class on campus and five weeks of clinical in Vietnam.
After an application process, students are selected to take their pediatric and community health nursing courses in Vietnam. Under the guidance of SPU professors, these students spend five weeks in city hospitals and rural clinics providing health education and nursing care to children and families.
