Morocco Study Abroad Program
On the Morocco Study Abroad Program, students will travel overland from Granada in Moorish Spain, to Fes in Morocco. We will be following a trans-national journey across borders, which is also taken by the characters in Laila Lalami's story, Hope and Other Dangerous Pursuits.
To prepare for this trip, plan on taking a 3-credit orientation in the spring, which will be a North African film course. This class will introduce the history and cultural diversity of this region with films from Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia.
