Dr. Diana and Jeffrey Keuss

Diana Keuss received her Ph.D. from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and her M.A. from Pepperdine University. Her teaching explores the connection between Buddhist thought and practice and Western phenomenology. She has taught about Buddhism and Hinduism at the University of Glasgow, taught courses in world religions for Fuller Theological Seminary in Seattle, and has lectured on world religions at SPU.

Jeffrey Keuss, associate professor of Christian ministry, is the husband of Dr. Diana Keuss. He was the lecturer of practical theology and ethics, and the director of the Centre for the Study of Literature, Theology, and the Arts at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. In addition to his work at SPU, he is a visiting professor of practical theology at Fuller Theological Seminary.

“We are convinced that one of the key formative moments in a university student’s career is an experience in a totally foreign environment where the student is forced to draw from the person they have dreamed of being and make it a reality,” say the Keusses. “This is especially important when studying and reflecting critically on other world faiths from the perspective of the Christian faith so that the person of faith that students talk about being also becomes a reality.”
