The British Isles include the countries of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. Through a rich and tumultuous history, the British Isles have gained such historical gems as the mysterious Stonehenge, the mighty reign of Queen Elizabeth I, the music of The Beatles, and a boy wizard named Harry Potter.
On the pre-session, students will travel throughout the countryside visiting the beautiful cities of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Cambridge, and London.
After the pre-session, students will travel to the city of Canterbury, England, one of the UK's most beautiful and historic cities. Still surrounded by its original Roman walls, Canterbury is home to traditional cobbled streets and many medieval buildings of great historical significance, not the least of which is Canterbury Cathedral, a World Heritage Site protected by UNESCO
