Belize Tropical Biology
On the Belize Tropical Biology study trip, students will have an intensive study trip that includes readings, lectures, discussions, field instruction, and observations, as well as research and service projects related to coral reefs and their associated organisms.
During their weeks in Belize, students learn about the ecology of coral reefs; they learn to identify common species, and they study their behavior and relationships. Additionally, students will learn something of terrestrial and human history in Belize — especially the ancient Mayan culture.
