SPU-Affiliated Study Abroad Programs

Application details for each of the SPU-affiliated study abroad programs are found under Apply/Deadlines with each location, and under Affiliated Programs.

Students must submit two applications when applying for a non-SPU affiliated study abroad program:

Step One:

All students planning to study abroad must submit a completed approval application to Ben Weins (benweins@spu.edu) (last names A-K) or Debbie Crouch (dcrouch@spu.edu) (last names L-Z) in Student Academic Services (Demaray Hall, Room 120) by 4:30 p.m. the day of the deadline and prior to enrollment in a program.

Step Two:

Students applying to a third-party program must submit a completed application directly to the study-abroad program, and keep their academic counselor informed of their application progress.

There are two application deadlines: the deadline for the Application for Approval to Study Abroad and the Program Application.

Unless the program deadline is earlier, the deadlines for the SPU Application for Approval to Study Abroad (PDF) are as follows:

Autumn Quarter (August or September start-date)	April 15
Full Year (a full academic year)	April 15
Summer Term	April 15
Winter or Spring Quarter (January or March/April start-date)	November 15
