SPU Affiliated Study Abroad Programs

CCCU Middle Eastern Studies Program

There are three types of affiliated programs:

Student costs for these programs are paid to SPU. Financial aid for these programs includes federal and state aid (except work study), as well as some SPU institutional aid (see specific programs for details). SPU Faculty-Led Programs

The Undergraduate Catalog includes descriptions about SPU faculty-led study-abroad programs.

Students enroll for their courses through SPU, and the courses will appear on their transcript, with grades counting toward SPU GPA and academic honors. Financial aid can include all forms of SPU aid, and federal and state aid (except work study).

To receive all necessary information related to the chosen program, and provide SPU with all the information needed from you, be sure to do the following:

CCCU (BestSemester) Programs

Research program options, qualifications for participation, and application timelines at www.bestsemester.com. The Study Programs section of the SPU Undergraduate Catalog identifies which SPU professors coordinate the various CCCU study abroad programs.

Students enroll for their courses through SPU, and the courses will appear on the SPU transcript, with grades counting toward SPU GPA and academic honors. Financial aid includes all forms of SPU aid, and federal and state aid (except work study); costs include SPU tuition for the registered SPU credits, typically 24, plus other CCCU program costs.

To receive all necessary information related to the chosen program, and provide SPU with all the information needed from you, be sure to do the following:

Visitor Programs

SPU has agreements with several institutions which allow SPU students to enroll for a quarter or semester as a visiting student. Credits will transfer to SPU through an official transcript from the host institution. SPU faculty and/or staff help facilitate enrollment. Information about program facilitators is found in the SPU Undergraduate Catalog.

Student costs are paid to SPU, which will forward payments to the host institution. Financial aid for these programs includes federal and state aid (except work study), as well as limited SPU institutional aid. Learn more about the financial aspects of these programs.
