FCS 3250: Servg Chldr,Families&Commnties
The focus of this course will be on working with children and families who are living in poverty in the city of Manila in the Philippines. This course provides supervised service learning opportunities for students while working with children and families in a cross-cultural environment. Students will have the opportunity to participate in feeding programs, family and community service projects, school programs, and interact with the children in an orphanage sponsored by Kids International Ministries (KIM). May be repeated for credit 2 times.
