ENGLISH – CREATIVE WRITING MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 63 total and 30 upper-division credits are required for the BA in English – Creative Writing major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Other			Apply for admission to the major. A 2.5 GPA is required, including a 2.5 in any two of the following courses: ENG 2225, 2251, 2252, 2253.	Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed

Major				ENG 3180, Choose 2 of the following courses for 10 credits: ENG 3338, 3352, 4425 and 4426. Choose one genre group (6 cr total): ENG 3316 and 4316 OR ENG 3317 and 4317 OR ENG 3318 and 4318.

Other		Apply to graduate once 105 credits and admission to major have been earned.		Electives to reach at least 135 credits if needed
