COMPUTATIONAL MATHEMATICS MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 100 total and 38 upper-division credits are required for the BS in Computational Mathematics major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Foreign Language Competency, if required			AHA, AHB, SSA, SSB, NSA (Choose one to three depending on competency courses needed.)
Other	Apply for admission to the major. A 2.5 GPA is required, in addition to a 2.0 in CSC 2430.			Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed

Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)				AHA, AHB, SSA, NSA (whichever categories remain unfulfilled)
Other		Apply to graduate once 105 credits and admission to major have been earned.		Electives to reach at least 135 credits if needed

Major			CSC 4898, EE 3280	Remaining electives in CSC numbered 4000-4850 (A total of eleven credits is required), CSC Project Course: CSC 4150, CSC 4760, OR CSC 4820

Other	Create a final-year plan and meet with your faculty advisor for review.			Electives to reach at least 180 total college-level quarter credits and 60 upper-division credits if needed
