EDAD 6585: School Law
This course in Washington state school law provides future educational leaders with basic knowledge of the law directly affecting public education in the United States with a focus on Washington State statutes, regulations and appellate court cases. The goal is to give those working in Washington public schools the ability to: define the term "law" as applied in the school context; anticipate and identify common legal problems and issues in education; and know and be able to use legal terms, concepts and ideas.
