National Nurses Week is celebrated each year, May 6-12, to coincide with the birthday of Florence Nightingale. The week was created to show appreciation for the many nursing roles — from staff nurse to nurse educator. Join the
School of Health Sciences on Wednesday, May 8, 2-4 p.m., to celebrate the nursing vocation and SPU nurse educator colleagues with a reception in the Nursing Skills Lab, located in Marston/Watson Room 256. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
