Washington State Governor Jay Inslee is deeply saddened with the death of Specialist Robert W. Ellis, 21, of Kennewick, Wash., and directs that Washington state and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff today in his memory. Spc. Ellis died June 18 in Afghanistan of injuries sustained from indirect fire.
