Governor Chris Gregoire joins President Barak Obama in directing Washington State and United States flags at all Washington State government facilities be lowered to half-staff today in memory of astronaut Neil Armstrong, who died August 25.
A private service is being held today for Armstrong in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the first man to walk on the moon.
